Substance Abuse Services
Heartland Clinical Consultants is licensed by the State of Kansas, Addiction & Prevention Services to provide Alcohol & Drug Assessment & Referral services, Alcohol & Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP) services, and Outpatient Counseling & Treatment services.
Substance Abuse Evaluations & Treatment Services
We can provide evaluations for DUI, OUI, DWI and other court ordered offenses, such as MIP (Minor in Possession) and possession offenses. Evaluations include a diagnostic interview along with completion of alcohol & other drug abuse evaluation instruments (SASSI, MAST, etc.). Evaluations are scheduled by appointment by calling either our Topeka or Lawrence office between the hours of 8am & 5pm, Monday thru Friday.
Various treatment services (group or individual counseling) are also offered on an outpatient basis to those clients that have been identified as having a substance abuse and/or dependency problem.
Alcohol & Drug Information School (ADIS) - 8 hour class
We offer education classes at our Lawrence location two Saturdays each month. These classes will identify some of the most commonly abused substances, explaining their effects and the consequences and problems they can cause. Lecture, video presentations, and guided discussion are utilized during the class.
All classes start promptly at 8am. $80 fee (cash, money order or credit cards accepted)
